Overview
Since 2009, Aero Design has partnered with M3AAWG—the Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group—to maintain and evolve its public website and member portal. As a global industry alliance focused on combating online threats and abuse, M3AAWG requires a digital platform that reflects its authority, facilitates collaboration among members, and supports rapid updates in response to an ever-changing security landscape. Aero Design has proudly provided long-term development, support, and strategic guidance to help meet those needs.

Challenge
M3AAWG’s work involves sensitive, fast-moving topics in internet security, requiring a platform that balances public transparency with private collaboration. The website needed to serve multiple audiences—from policy makers and researchers to technical working groups—while maintaining security, accessibility, and compliance.
The site also had to manage a large archive of reports, best practices, and event materials, all presented within a framework that reinforces M3AAWG’s reputation as a trusted global authority.
Our approach
Aero Design implemented a custom Drupal website that combines a strong editorial structure with flexible content tools for staff. We created role-based access controls to manage both public and member-only content, built event and publication libraries, and supported integrations with external systems such as Salesforce. We’ve provided consistent support over the years, including performance tuning, security updates, UX enhancements, and major upgrades—all handled with the care required by an organization with high visibility in the cybersecurity space.
Results
M3AAWG’s website has become an essential resource for both members and the broader tech community, offering clear, organized access to critical best practices documents, event information, and anti-abuse resources. With Aero Design’s ongoing support, the platform remains stable, secure, and responsive to evolving digital demands. Our long-standing partnership ensures that M3AAWG can continue focusing on its mission—fighting online abuse—while trusting us to keep their digital infrastructure strong and dependable.
