Overview
At Aero Design, we’re passionate about helping mission-driven organizations build digital platforms that deliver real value to their communities. When the California Park & Recreation Society (CPRS) approached us to modernize their job board, we saw an opportunity to create something much more than a listing page. The result is the CPRS Job Center (jobcenter.cprs.org), a polished, user-friendly hub that connects parks and recreation professionals with employers across California.

Challenge
CPRS needed a job center that could do two things exceptionally well:
Provide job seekers with an easy way to browse, filter, and discover opportunities in their field (Find a Job).
Give employers a clear and efficient process to post positions, with transparent pricing and seamless payment options (Place a Job).
The previous system was functional but lacked the intuitive design, automation, and branding consistency that CPRS wanted to offer its community. Our challenge was to design a solution that was not only efficient, but also aligned with CPRS’s mission and professional identity.

For Job Seekers
We built a robust Find a Job page that allows users to filter listings by classification, location, salary, and closing dates. Clear navigation and pagination ensure that professionals can quickly find relevant opportunities without frustration.For Employers
We designed a transparent, step-by-step job posting process. Employers can now place job ads with clear pricing options ($75 for 30 days, $125 for 60 days) and predictable activation timelines.For CPRS Staff
