If disaster strikes and your website is irreparably damaged or offline, we will follow these steps to get you back up and running quickly:
- First, we will determine the situation causing your site to be offline.
- If your site is offline due to issues at the hosting facility and the facility won’t be back online for several days or weeks, we will copy the most recent backup of your site to a different server facility within the AWS worldwide network.
- Next, we will restore your site to the new facility. We will naturally test the new version of the site to ensure all critical functionality is working correctly.
- Once we have confirmed that the site is working correctly on the new server, we will work with you to alter the DNS, which will make the site live at the new facility.
