Case Studies

Youngzine is a one-of-a-kind Web site where children can learn about current news and events shaping their world -- in a simple, engaging and interactive manner.

Youngzine's goal is to help parents and educators create a vibrant community of well-informed and engaged young citizens in an increasingly connected world.

Youngzine's website was in desperate need of a reinvention and redesign. The organization had evolved significantly, but the website and database supporting the organization had not caught up.

our approach

Aeronet and Youngzine staff worked in tandem to redefine how the website could be made more effective and useful for the online classroom experience. The site is built to allow teachers, parents, students and content experts to benefit from the site.

Youngzine is now one of the leading educational websites for young Internet users and especially classroom students.

Youngzine is not just another news website for kids - their age-appropriate articles explore the context behind the news stories, spark curiosity and critical thought, and develop an openness for perspectives and cultures different from their own, in young minds.

Besides news stories, Youngzine provides a platform for children to have their creative writing published and a private classroom portal for teachers to create and manage classroom assignments.
